For profile grinding the use of electroplated precision wheels in diamond is often underestimated.

Flutes may be grinded or very accurate complexe profiles in ceramic, tungsten carbide, graphit… Depending on the profile undamaged body’s can be replated.

Advantages:

• Multiple profiles on one grinding wheel and high profile retention
• Small concave radii till 0,02 mm, which are hardly realized with eroding or profiling
• No need to dress, so time can be saved and a dressing unit is unnecessary
